DSW at the Pomegranate: Festival reading on Tuesday 18th!
Congratulations to DSW member Richard, whose play \’It\’s in the Bag\’ will be featured as an open rehearsal slot at From Page to Stage, part of the Pomegranate New Playwriting Festival 2014.

Reader role for DSW member Mike
Reading stories is a big part of getting a better understanding of how great stories work, which is why we\’re really pleased DSW member Mike has just become a professional Reader for a major UK TV and film production company.
Mike will be reading and assessing scripts, a skill that being a member of DSW\’s crit group has helped him hone to a fine art – we\’re looking forward to seeing how his experience of working within the industry will help us to become better writers and readers – good luck Mike!

The Quad Writes Anthology launch event starts 7pm, Wednesday 11th December at Derby Quad, with readings from some of the featured writers.

Have you ever thought about writing your life story?
We\’ll help you plan, write, and organise a unique record of your life and times. Inspiring you to dig deep, capturing memories and writing about your life; the people and the places, the ordinary and the extraordinary − the things that happened which made you who you are.
Suitable for everyone and no previous experience of writing is required.
Tea and coffee will be available but please bring a packed lunch. Alternatively there are sandwich shops nearby but please note the Record Office is on a steep slope.
