After a fantastic write-in session in January, the new year has brought a new venue and a new time and date for us to meet!
We\’re now meeting to share ideas and talk scripts at Derby Museum on The Strand in Derby on the first Sunday of the month between 2pm and 4pm, where we\’ll be discussing the latest draft of one of our member\’s scripts. Happy New Year everybody! Derbyshire Scriptwriters is back for more script chat and discussion – but this month there\’s a twist…
We\’re hosting a write-in session at the Flowerpot Pub this month (Tuesday 8th Jan 2013)- bring your laptop, tablet, typewriter, notepad and pen, even slate and chalk – and get writing! We\’ll be sharing what we\’ve been working on at the end of the session, then what our plans our for our newly created work in progress. In future months, we\’ll be giving selected members works a full critique.
Last year we discussed everything from political intrigue to animated fairytales with a modern twist – so, if you\’ve been scratching at an idea for a story that\’s been in the back of your head for ages, now is the time to get going – see you there!
